Little Urchin began one day when a father picked up his young daughter from daycare and found her skin caked in a chemical-smelling sunscreen. Knowing just enough about the potentially harmful effects of common sunscreen ingredients, he knew he didn’t want her wearing them.
Determined to create something better, he began a six-month journey formulating a sunscreen using only rich essential oils and nature’s most potent skin-nourishing ingredients. After perfecting the base, he teamed up with one of Australia’s top formulators to ensure the product was not only gentle and effective — but also professionally tested for integrity and protection.
